Welcome to February! I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty excited that we're slowly getting out of winter and into spring!
Speaking of exciting...I have some news for anyone who was not here this past Sunday...Leah and I are engaged! Pretty neat, right?
Anyhow, I hope you are all having an amazing week. Please check out the information below as there are some changes from what you may have heard elsewhere.

This Week In {fumc} youth:
Sunday School: There will NOT be Sunday school this week. This is Family Worship Sunday. Students, please go to church with your family. Parents, please go to church so your students can join you ;-)
UMYF Super Bowl Party: This week is the super bowl so we will have a party in the Parlor from 4:00 - 7:00 pm. Pizza will be provided (bring $2 if you'd like to help pay), and snacks are HIGHLY encouraged. Also, bring your game face... |

Next Week In {fumc} youth:
Sunday School: We will meet at our regularly scheduled time (9:15-10:15) in the Youth Basement. Middle School and High School will meet separately this week.
UMYF: Join us this week as we continue our quarter long discussion of The Beattitudes. This week we will have a VERY special guest to help lead out time together, You wont want to miss this one! |

Couch Connections:
I am in my office Tuesday - Friday from 9:00 - 6:00 and am more than happy to have guests! If any students want to stop by, I have Mexican Coke in the fridge, Wifi for homework, a couch worth sitting in, and an activity table if you just want to play. Come by to visit anytime during my work hours! Maybe you'll get your picture posted on Facbook like Alex Klinglesmith, Evan Mackes, and Kaylyn King! |

Confirmation:
Confirmation class began in January 8th, 2012 and will continue until May 20, 2012. Registration Deadline is absolutely no later than Febraury 12th! We will be meeting in the youth basement from 10:45 – 11:45 am each Sunday. Please read our weekly update emails, check our facebook page, or watch the youth blog for information updates. Also, we will have a Confirmation Retreat this year. The cost is $20. More information to follow! |

One-On-Ones:
If any student(s) would like to have a one-on-one meeting with me, there are now sign up sheets both on my office door and in the youth basement. We can meet for lunch, grab coffee, get froyo, throw a frisbee, or do something goofy. Please feel free to sign up individually or with a friend. I will be contacting students in the order that they sign up! Parents are also encouraged to sign up! |
